Our January 2026 WINTER CONCERTS
Our January concerts will feature music exclusively written by female composers. The centerpiece work will be a piece called Everyday Wonders: The Girl from Aleppo by Cecilia McDowall. This piece describes the stunning 16-month journey of Nujeen Mustafa, a Kurdish teenager with cerebral palsy. She was seeking asylum from Syria and made her way from Aleppo through 8 countries, finally arriving in Germany, pushed in her wheelchair by her older sister Nasrine.
